Can you handle the heat?

It’s been a fantastic week for live music and TIWN - did you manage to get to any of them?

On Friday at Llanelli’s flagship record shop, The Second 45, Jude Brothers from the USA and Australia’s Rachel Taylor-Beales stopped off during their UK tour to play a few songs and sign autographs for the fans. That same day, in Brecon, Paul Hayes played at our Storyteller Evening at The Muse before heading back to The Second 45 to play another set there on Saturday!

Mike’s Welsh Connections interview podcast with Jude & Rachel hit the top spot on the global Mixcloud charts and Craig’s Playlist show was a top 10 hit too - it’s the most listened-to show for new Welsh releases in the world with over 200,000 weekly listeners!

Issue 3 of the TIWN magazine has been flying out and we’d like to thank everybody that has bought their copy. We are already working away on the next one.

We’d like to send a massive well done to The Crawling Eye on last week's release of their new album. Worldwide airplay has been phenomenal and the feedback amazing. These guys really are the ones to watch. As are The Dragonflies and Ronda Ray - who’s getting some pretty spectacular airplay herself with ‘Liar’.

Kaysha and Craig have been back at Bryn Bach Primary this past week as part of our TIWN Academy. Another amazing song written that will be featured on Welsh Connections in the coming weeks. Find out more by emailing us here.

Check out the three events we have coming up at Newbridge Memo this July!

Enjoy the Sunshine Pawb!!!
