The Celynen Film Festival is a place to share films and a safe haven for filmmakers to connect, share, and learn. Where we aim to inspire, motivate and award new and existing talent.
The ‘inaugural’ Celynen Film Festival will illustrate the art of film-making, promote Welsh filmmakers, nurture young talent and bring attention to often marginalised communities and projects. The festival takes place over three days, 24th-26th May 2024 at Newbridge Memo.
The three-day event will include a launch party on May 24th at 7pm featuring pre-screenings, live music, and guest speakers. Our screenings will take place alongside our annual music and arts festival TIWNFEST, and the awards ceremony will be held on May 26th at 5pm, which will feature our panel of experts, guest speakers, live music and an awards ceremony.
