We hope that everyone had a great day on Sunday and got to spend time with their loved ones on Father’s Day. Always a special day and a chance to show the person in your life how much they mean to you! 

Talking of special dates, we have three amazing events coming up at the Newbridge Memo next month - if you love the big band sound get along to see The Siglo Section on July the 2nd and if rock is your thing then the World’s Premiere Bon Jovi tribute band, Bon Giovi, are coming to town on July 29th. If you want to support grassroots original music we have our monthly showcase with three spectacular bands - The Stand, Champagne on The Rocks and Tom Emlyn. More live events, too, as Roger Henderson entertains the crowds at Swansea’s Uplands artisan market on the 24th of June which is the same day Elektronika are playing at The Second 45 in Llanelli as part of the town’s 80’s weekend! While the day after, Craig’s Secret Postal Society play at EJ’s also in the town from 5.30pm. 

Mike’s Welsh Connections interview podcast saw it’s 5th global No.1 Mixcloud show of 2023 as his show with Sam Gluck shot to the top of the worldwide charts - the next star chatting with Mike is BBC Radio 2 favourite Al Lewis, who is performing at Glastonbury this year - and has a new album out !!

And don’t tell him we told you but, Mike has recently undergone some ‘tuning fork therapy’ - all in the name of investigation (yeah, yeah) which involves tuning forks of different pitches being positioned at the important points on his body! More on this next week!
