What sun / Whitsun?

Did you know that Whitsun marks the day when the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus' disciples after his ascension from earth to heaven on Ascension Day? For those of you with no interest in all things religious, it was also the weekend that the fantastic Frankie Wesson made her Storyteller Evening debut (no this really happened - honest!) It was another brilliant performance from Frankie. Bourton’s in Bargoed is a super-cool venue in the heart of the valleys.

As with most of you we’ve been kicking back for the holiday and enjoying the sun but we have still been working with the guys at Urban Foundry organising some exciting live music events for their markets. Coming up we’ve got:

10th June at Mumbles - Eleri Angharad

11th June at Swansea Marina - Paul Edwards

Pop along and say hello - Paul & Eleri would love it!

At The Second 45, in Llanelli, they have Jude Brothers (USA), Rachel Taylor-Beales (Australia) this Friday 9th June and Paul Hayes on Saturday 10th June playing live. Paul will also be playing at The Muse in Brecon on Friday. Don’t forget to check our events page to be kept up to date with all our live events.

We have finally launched issue 3 of our magazine and thank you to everyone that has bought a copy, it’s available HERE! Next issue we’re going even bigger and adding more pages and interactive features.

In new music news, we’ve been working with the amazing Ronda Ray from America, The Dragonflies and The Crawling Eye and getting lots of airplay worldwide! If you’d like to talk to us about a PR campaign or radio plugging for your new music drop us a line at: info@tiwnmedia.co.uk

That’s it for now - enjoy the rays, use plenty of sunscreen and don’t party too hard!

TIWN Trio,
Kaysha, Michael and Craig x
