Music Madness

The Vanities were amazing at Cardiff’s Tiny Rebel for their new single launch - what a fantastic evening of original music and special guests including our own Kaysha Louvain! The following day they made an appearance at their favourite record shop too - Llanelli’s The Second 45 - and played an intimate set to a very appreciative crowd.

This coming Saturday you can see Gareth Lewis at the record store from 3pm! Did we mention that The Second 45 are finalists in the Independent Welsh Retail Awards for Best Welsh Record Shop? There’s more live music this Saturday when Eleri plays at the Uplands Market in Swansea.

Mike has been catching up with, BBC Wales A-list star, Caitlin Lavagna for sleevenotes.uk to chat about her music and career as well as future shows with Brazil’s Cristiano Varisco, Grammy nominated Ajay Mathur, Sorrel Nation and Bristol’s Play Misty!

Meanwhile (back at the ranch) Kaysha has been finalising everything for TIWNFEST and The Celynen Film Festival - it’s an amazing line-up including Not The S.O.S, The Secret Faces, Yaki Dah, Casey Maunder, Pavilion Rd, The Rogues, Kaysha Louvain, Gareth Lewis, Frankie Wesson and so many more great acts from all over Wales. Happening from 12pm to 12am at the Newbridge Memo on May 25th. All ages welcome and food, crafts and stalls will be there. We now have discounted group tickets, so grab your friends and enjoy an all-day music festival right on your doorstep. See you there!!
