October's poplars are flaming torches lighting the way to winter
First, though, we needed to see September out and to do that we had some great live music from Secret Postal Society at Elysium on Friday and ELERI at the Uplands Market on Saturday.

Coming up this Friday we’ve got Rory Challenger at Bourton’s, Bargoed for our latest Storyteller Evening.
Apart from the live stuff, we’ve been working with some great artists to promote their music - coming up there are releases by Frankie Wesson, Gareth Lewis, Caitlin Lavagna, Katielou, Kaysha Louvain, Revolution Rabbit Deluxe and Ronda Ray. Catch them on your favourite radio station soon!
We notched up our 21st Global No.1 on Mixcloud with Mike’s interview with Richard Anthony Hewson - he’s the guy behind the RAH Band and the infamous string arranger for The Long & Winding Road by The Beatles. Lots of stories about working with the Fab 4 and Phil Spector.
This week, former Riverdance star, and lead vocalist for Karnataka, Hayley Griffiths joins Mike to talk about her new albums. In this entertaining and candid interview Hayley talks about her love of music and getting her big break in the West End, being head-hunted by prog-rock giants Karnataka and fronting her own Hayley Griffiths Band.
