I Just Cant Stand The Rain

Are we finally getting a Summer? Has the sky run out of rain? Is that low depression finally moving on? All this and more are answered below…

We had a fantastic day at The Brecon Jazz & Fringe Festival. We were back at The Bell Lane Stage, with The Foundry, with a fantastic line-up of stars, including Secret Postal Society, Huw James, Tom Crow, Rob Lear, The Rockerleles and E L E R I! No words could do justice to just how great these guys were!
Meanwhile, at The Second 45 Mal Pope was playing an intimate set celebrating 50 years in showbiz! Llanelli’s flagship record store is certainly pulling in the stars - and they’ve plenty more lined up this year starting with Catherine Elms on August 19th. ELERI also played at the Urban Foundry’s Mumbles Market on Saturday and it was Gordon Wride at Swansea Marina on the 13th!

New interviews on Welsh Connections have included Colm Gavin, Mora Borowski, The Rogues, The Korgis and The Stray Pursuit. Don’t forget that you can listen to all new & archive shows here, plus Craig’s Playlist Show.

And talking of radio, we’ve had some spectacular airplay for Huw James, Anonymous Iconoclasts, The Crawling Eye and, the two artists that EVERYONE loves at the moment, Ronda Ray and Casey Maunder!

We’d like to send our love and best wishes to Taurus 1984’s Alastair Jenkins and his future bride, Canadian synth superstar, Dana Jean who are getting married this coming Saturday in Swansea!

Ok so we didn’t really answer those questions at the top but we took your mind off the weather for a little while. Mike, Kaysha & Craig x x x
