For as long as he can remember, Andreas Aleman has struggled with low self-esteem and mental illness. Rooted in his childhood trauma of a violent and alcoholic father, Andreas grew up feeling like he was never good enough.

His latest single "Little Human" is a deeply personal story and a letter to Andreas himself, as a small child. The song reflects how, we humans often can feel small, fragile, and inadequate, that we don't think we are good enough, even though we have enormous capacity.

Andreas about the song:

“The text reflects the things I need to grapple with but I believe that the vast majority can relate to. It is a celebration of the human in us, that we are amazing just the way we are, and that we are strong and capable."

"The song has a weight and depth on one level, while at the same time, it instills hope and warmth which is very important and personal to me. We all need to try to be kind to ourselves."

In October this year, Andreas spent some time in Nashville and LA where he wrote music together with, among others, the legend Sharon Vaughn (Agnes, September, Boyzone, Willie Nelson, etc.) and played at the iconic Blue Bird Café.

The single "Little Human" was written by Andreas Aleman together with Tony Nilsson and Mirja Breitholtz. Listen now.
