We’d like to thank everybody that came along to the Newbridge Memo on Friday for our Band Night and magazine launch for issue 4 - what a fantastic night of music from Clockwork Aeroplane, Act Happy and Interstella Boy! Plus, of course, the special guest appearance from our cover star Mal Pope!
The following day Candy Mountain played an intimate set at The Second 45 (he was LOUD) during Llanelli’s Vintage Festival and the crowd just loved him!
Kaysha was busy behind the camera this past weekend working with Caitlin Lavagna, unfortunately we haven’t got anything to share just yet but stay tuned!
Mike and Craig both had Top ten chart placings in Mixcloud’s Global Charts for their interview and playlist shows - this week’s new interview show is with Cardiff Radio indie music champion Connor Morgans. Take a listen to his plans plus some great Welsh music choices.
Coming up this Saturday Nia Nicholls will be performing at The Second 45 ahead of her trip to Nashville to record some new music. We advise anyone going along to get there early as space is limited! You can also see Nia live at EJ’s the night before.

Finally, entries for the 2024 Celynen Film Festival are now welcomed, so if you’re a budding filmmaker (or an old hand) get your submissions in for a reduced early bird fee! This is going to be huge and next week we’ll be announcing our first set of judges.
