Starting Off Strong!

We hope that you all had some fantastic new year celebrations with your loved ones!

A massive thank you to everyone that came along to Bourton’s in Bargoed for our first Storyteller Evening of 2023 - Secret Postal Society was amazing! We’ve got a fantastic monthly line-up organised for this year, plus we’ll be going to The Muse in Brecon later this year too!

Talking of new ventures, we’re over the moon to see Mike Savory’s Second 45 record shop open up at Park Street, Llanelli. He’s worked really hard on living his dream of opening up his own shop - but you’ll still be able to find him around Wales at the Record Fair Cymru events too. Pop along to say hello and dig through the thousands of records, CDs and cassettes on offer in the shop. It’s open every Monday to Friday, 10-3.

As we hinted last week, the TIWN & Vision television show will be broadcast weekly from March thanks to Showboat TV and Amazon Fire TV - it’ll be packed with the best music videos from Wales!

In radio, Craig will soon be announcing some new stations to host his playlist show and Mike has new interviews lined up with some fantastic guests including author and music director Mike Dixon, Jonny Williams, Anders Bosell, Earl Slick, Joe Hoze and many more!

The TIWN magazine continues to go from strength to strength and will continue to feature the biggest and best interviews with the stars from Wales. You can order yours from OUR STORE

The line-up for TIWNFEST will be announced shortly and we think you’ll love who we have playing this year - it’s a great mix of big names and rising stars from Wales…..and further afield ! Put April 15th in your diary now. Ticket announcement COMING SOON!

Something we’re all excited about is the new single and tour from Kaysha Louvain - the BBC Radio Wales A lister is back and she’s got TROUBLE in mind!

Finally on January 19th the team will be in London for the Radio Wigwam Awards at a star studded ceremony attended by some of the biggest names in the UK Music industry. We’re proud to be able to sponsor the awards and say a big thank you to the guys at the station for all the support that they’ve given us over the years ! We’ll be sure to get the photos and news to you as soon as possible!
