A new year!
What a crazy ride 2022 was - we lost Maxi Jazz, Terry Hall, Robbie Coltrane, Olivia Newton-John, Ray Liotta, Coolio, Taylor Hawkins, Dame Deborah James, Angela Lansbury, Meat Loaf, Shane Warne, June Brown, Christine McVie, Kirstie Alley, and of course the Queen. We emerged from
COVID in the UK and saw two new PMs (about as much use as each other but better than bumbling Boris surely ?) and TIWN was born rising like a Phoenix out of the ashes of SWND - and in those twelve months we’ve been overwhelmed by your love, trust and support for our new venture.
Our Welsh Connections radio shows have scored worldwide No.1’s on Mixcloud with the Playlist show now reaching in excess of 200,000 weekly listeners worldwide ! It was confirmed that our TIWN & Vision TV show will be aired weekly, via Showboat TV on Amazon Fire TV and Roku, from March and issue one of the TIWN magazine was a huge success nearly selling out on launch night. We’ve been fortunate to work with some great organisations such as The Welsh Music Prize, PRS, Focus Wales, Urban HQ, Urban Foundry markets, Bourton’s Live Music Cafe, The Foundry, Newbridge Memo, The Brecon Fringe, The Mid Wales R&B Club, The Muse, Swansea Bay Records and many others. We helped promote new releases by some amazing artists, including, Paisley Parc, Revolution Rabbit Deluxe, The Crawling Eye, Mr Bewlay, The Dragonflies, The Lost & Found, Rebecca Richards, Dil Williams, Jack Ellis, Ceri James, Casey Maunder, Mark Ruebery, Stacie Collins, Jon Sudbury, The Secret Postal Society,The Zinvandels, Kaysha Louvain and more…
On live events we were lucky enough to have worked with Gordon Wride, Paul Hayes, Eleri Angharad, John Davies, Katielou, Ragsy, Rob Lear, Karen Gemma Brewer, Tim Manning, Becky Lowe, Joe Kelly, The Now, Velvet Starlings, Zac & The New Men, Columbia, Gareth Lewis, Tony Webb, Roger Henderson, Dan’s People, Igloo Hearts, Miles Per Minute, Barney Barnett, Papa Jupe’s T.C and The Rivers.
