Since its launch in 2016, Radio Wigwam has grown into one of the UK’s most respected independent online radio stations, broadcasting 24 hours a day with an eclectic mix of music spanning every genre. Built on a passion for original music rather than commercial playlists, the station has become a trusted platform for thousands of emerging and established independent artists from across the globe.
Over the past ten years, Radio Wigwam has played tens of thousands of tracks, introduced listeners to artists from more than 100 countries and built a vibrant international community of musicians, presenters and music lovers. To celebrate its tenth anniversary, Radio Wigwam has announced a two-day long music festival: ‘WIGWAM X FEST’ at The Purple Turtle in Reading.
All day 5th and 6th September will see two stages and more than thirty acts from around the UK across two days celebrating the remarkable talent that has made the station what it is today.
The line up of acts range from bands local to Reading as well as artists from across England and Wales.
