Who’s behind the mask?
The Inaudibles are a bit of an enigma. In a previous incarnation, they have DJ’d at places such as Ministry of Sound, Pacha London, and even The Palace in Swansea back in the day. When the transformation into the LED avatar occurred back in 2012, something special was created. Preferring to be only recognisable by the silver and blue mask, The Inaudibles starting creating electronic music that isn't restricted to one genre. The Inaudibles are a concept. The Inaudibles are a mixture of different personas and influences. The Inaudibles are mysteriously unique.
‘One Night with the Electric Ensemble’ was written as a concept album. It's designed to give the impression of a night at the theatre for a performance. From the curtain lifting for Prologue, the crescendo of energy builds before the audience has a chance to reset during the interval. From then, Act II commences, guiding the audience through several emotive pieces, right before the epilogue delivers a message that is their reflection on current society.
The Inaudibles have got an exciting next few months ahead, with the release of some remix projects, as well as their follow-on album to ‘One Night with the Electric Ensemble.’ The remix album entitled "One Night with the Electric Ensemble: Encore" is where they have invited some of their friends to rework tracks from the album to put their own twist on them.
The wheels have been put in motion for the album release event for "One Night with the Electric Ensemble: Encore", which in taking place in late August to coincide with the album. With several events in Lasi, Romania at the beginning of September, the home of Crossworlder, there are also plans for The inaudibles to play at a big festival in mainland Europe next summer, but that's all they can say for now...
We wish them all the best for the future!
