Happy Easter
An egg-stra special blog this week (see what we did there?) Hopefully, you were all visited by the Easter Bunny over the weekend and are currently swamped with chocolate. If not pop down to your local supermarket and buy one because they’ll all be reduced to clear!!
The Second 45 had their own Easter Bunny in the guise of Eleri playing live instore on Saturday and what a great performance it was. Eleri had fun chatting with new fans and signing copies of her latest CD, The Carnival. Meanwhile, Gordon Wride was playing at the Uplands Market in Swansea to a very appreciative crowd!
We’ve got new music coming from Y Nos, The Stray Pursuit, The Vanities, Sally Crosby, Rory Challenger and Caitlin Lavagna, who has been featured on BBC Introducing and had ‘record of the week’ at Radio Wigwam.
You only have until April 5th to get your films submitted to The Celynen Film Festival so if you’re a budding Michael Sheen or Anthony Bunko get them in!!!!
Yesterday we wrapped up our brand new series Artist on Artist. What were your thoughts? Did you love it as much as us? Thank you so much to all the artists that took part. Who do you want to see featured in series 2?
Finally, thanks again for the lovely feedback about the latest issue of the TIWN Magazine - you’re helping to cement its reputation as Wales’ favourite independent music magazine - and still only £1.50! We are currently putting together issue 7, so if you’re in a band, or have a business that would like to be featured, get in touch at info@tiwnmedia.co.uk
