Kill Tuco Unveils New Single “Apples” – An Anthemic, Alternative Rock Ode to Heartbreak and Solitude

On November 28, Kill Tuco returned with a new single Apples, a driving alt-rock track that channels the energy of heartbreak, the hollow comfort of a rebound, and the loneliness left lingering. With its fast tempo, soaring chorus, and striking guitar solo, Apples packs raw energy into three and a half minutes of sharp guitar riffs and soaring indie-rock melodies.

Following Kill Tuco’s debut album release in 2019 and a whirlwind of live performances, Apples reflects the band’s growth and newly honed sound, crafted over a year and a half in a premier, world-class studio: The Rainforest Room. Teaming up with producer Tommy Osuna and engineer Demitri Marmash for the first time has brought a fresh perspective, blending Kill Tuco’s DIY spirit with polished production.

As a band rooted in Oahu’s alternative music scene, Kill Tuco has continued evolving, working through their toughest topics with a punchy, indie-rock attitude. Apples is as vulnerable as it is vibrant, an anthem for anyone who has found themselves searching for solace in the wrong places.
