Congratulations!

We’re still celebrating Caitlin Lavagna’s big win at Newport City Radio’s Love Live Music Awards on Friday. She took home the ‘Best Solo Artist’ award and it’s so well deserved!

We didn’t pick up any trophies but it was a total privilege to be nominated for an award and in such fantastic company too. We however had a fantastic evening filming the event. Newport came out in force, and what a great way to shout out about all the fantastic music and musicians in South Wales.

Talking of awards, the 2025 Celynen Film Festival will be open for submissions on September 1st. The event will take place between March 16th and 21st at Newbridge Memo. We will be holding a launch party, 4 days of screenings and workshops, and a spectacular awards ceremony. We’re hoping for even more diverse and amazing films submitted this year! Early bird options will be available - and don’t forget that if you’re in a band or a solo artist, there’s a music video category too!
