Kicking off with a great funky riff ‘Forgetting You’ is 4 minutes of perfect rock/pop destined to lift us out of, what is possibly, the dampest Summer ever!
There’s a distant echo of the Phonics mixed with Uncle Kracker which gives this single a West Coast feel that only the Welsh can get away with in such style. The whole song is delivered with a driving beat leading up to to the obligatory soaring guitar break.
Callum has a great whisky-soaked voice which is used to great effect on the harmonies, but, my favourite moment is the last 40 secs where we get a beautiful key change which lifts the whole song to new heights and had me heading for the repeat button.
A great track and I’d like to hear more!
